Parking

Free on-street parking is available throughout the streets of Avondale Estates. Please pay close attention to street signs regarding parking regulations.

A free parking lot is also available behind Avondale Estates City Hall on Ashton Place.

MARTA

There are two MARTA stations near Avondale Estates: Avondale and Kensington on the blue rail line. The Avondale MARTA station is closer to the downtown area (less than a 15-minute walk away, see map) and the Kensington MARTA station is closer to the park.

To reach either station, connect with a blue line train marked Indian Creek or H.E. Holmes depending on your starting station. If you are traveling from the red or gold line, including from the airport, transfer to an eastbound “Indian Creek” train at the Five Points station.

MARTA bus 8 also travels to the neighborhood from the Avondale MARTA station via North Avondale Road and North Clarendon Road.
